This page documents all the menus and buttons, and the actions that the user may accomplish with the mouse and the keyboard.

Figure 1: The user interface
Figure 1 above shows the Drawmetry user interface after launch (the window has been resized to take up less space on this page).
- The top row below the title bar shows the menu bar with the File, Edit, View, Insert, Format, Tools, Window, Help menus.
- Below the menu bare are several tool bars for easy access to the most used items.
- On a row by itself, preceded by a "=" sign, is the constraint field. This field is used to edit constraints associated with the point variables.
- The large white space is the canvas, where the drawing is drawn. The canvas represents a finite portion of an infinite plane. The panning and zoom tools may be used to control which part of the plane is shown on the canvas.
- At the very bottom is the feedback bar which provides feedback to the user. For instance, if the user selects a point variable, it will show the name of the variable.
